What MMCOA is working towards, and how it goes about it.
The institution's main motto is "welfare of masses". Assignments are planned so that students are groomed towards social awareness and encouraged to think outside the box through exercises built into the subjects. Study tours teach students to pursue environment-friendly approaches, while the college keeps up with new trends and technologies entering the market. Experts and manufacturers act as major resources for teaching.
MMCOA has well-qualified staff, along with professionals and architect counsellors from various domains, who help students achieve excellence and mentor them towards their goals. With freedom to research, innovate and implement, the college works to help its students stand out as among the best in the country. To broaden their exposure to the profession and to education across the country, students are encouraged to take part in national competitions such as NASA, NIASA and AESA.
Subjects such as Humanities, Professional Practice and Introduction to Architecture help sensitize students to be more human in their behaviour, rather than being driven by technology or money, as they look at issues from the macro to the micro level in their projects. This knowledge strengthens life skills and helps students mature into sensible human beings.
